Revelation 16:6-8

⁶because they poured out the blood of your saints and prophets,
so^[a] you have given them blood to drink. They got what they deserved!”^[b]

⁷Then^[c] I heard the altar reply,^[d] “Yes, Lord God, the All-Powerful,^[e] your judgments are true and just!”

⁸Then^[f] the fourth angel^[g] poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was permitted to scorch people^[h] with fire.
